My Latest New Project: Quintessential Hexagon Quilt

home

This is a reproduction of a 1800's hexagon patch quilt.  I sewed this quilt at a demo at the Cedarburg quilt museum (click here for picture). I am using Luella Doss' and Robin Flemming's fabric line,"Eye Wise" from the Easy Spirit Company. With my new method, I made this quilt top in two days (it is a very easy project) .  I used wool batting, and I plan to quilt it with Aurifill #50 thread.  I bought the fabric from Luella Doss herself at the Cedarburg Quilt Museum. She is one of the museum directors.  She needs volunteers for the museum.  Click here to find out how to volunteer.
