One of my all-time favorite quilts is a Baltimore Album quilt. I
always dream about making the album Baltimore Album quilt. I love
roses, so here is the variation of the Baltimore Album rose blocks.
This year the block of the month will be 12"x 12" finished size.
You need to cut the background fabric 13" x 13", once finishing
the applique part, trim the block to 12.5" x 12.5". Download
my pattern, and print on 8.5" x 11" paper, then center the page onto
the 13" x 13" background fabric to fit each applique piece on the
background.
It's up to you to finish your quilt. You can add inner borders
between blocks. I use bright colors and 100% silk fabrics,
pre-washed. I myself plan to join all 12 blocks together, than
add a 2" inner border, than an 8" black applique outer border. My
finished size will be 50" x 62".
Color suggestions: Red and green on a light background, jewel tone color on a black background, or pink on blue perhaps.
I hope you enjoy my Rose Garden Applique Samplers quilt! If you run into problems making this quilt, please e-mail me. I can give you tips and tricks on how to make this beautiful quilt. Happy quilting!

North America, and northwest Africa. Cultivars, native species
and hybrids are all grown for thier beauty and fragrance.
