By popular choice my BOM quilt for 2008 is birds of Wisconsin. I
love to feed the birds, and spend hours watching them out the back
window of my house. I saw an 1800's log-cabin style quilt at a
show called "Sunshine & Shadows". I fell in love with it and
wanted to make a variation of it. I hope you enjoy making this
quilt. Finished quilt size without a border is 54 by 72 inches.
After you add a log-cabin border, it's 72 by 90 inches.
The Hairy Woodpecker is a medium size woodpecker of Northern and
Central America. Adults are black and white with a white bar
above and below the eyes. It is closely related to the Downy
Woodpecker.
