Wildflower Basket 2007 BOM, November Block, Wild Poppy

The Wild Poppy has showy flowers that grow one per stem. It is
found growing uncultivated in singles or in groups. The center of
the poppy flower is a whorl of stamens surrounded by four to six petals
that form a cup shape. The petals are crumpled into a bud
prior to blooming.
