The Wood Lilly is a deep-shade, slender perennial with reddish pink
colored stems that are elliptic to ovate. It has veined leaves.
The flowers are pale to deep-pink with ovate to heart shaped
petals. The Swamp Milkweed is a species of milkweed that likes to
grow in wet soils near the edges of ponds and in ditches. It
attracts Monarch Butterflies which lay their eggs on this plant.
