Wildflower Basket 2007 BOM, February Blocks, Morning Glory and Violet Blocks

home

The 2007 BOM quilt has 20 blocks, so I'll have to post two blocks most months.  The Morning Glory is a cone shaped flower that opens early in the day to be polinated by hummingbirds, bees, and other insects.  The flower only lasts one day!  It is replaced by a new flower the next.  The violet is a flowering plant that grows in moist slightly shaded conditions, and produces assymetrical flowers.
