The Honey Bee Block
The honey bee is Wisconsin's State Insect. Our friend Chip was a
honey farmer; he owned Great Lakes Honey at one time. He'd be
covered with bees and get stung occasionally while we watched him
pull racks from the hives for the honey centerfuge. I
did not have time to applique this before John took this picture.
I'll get to it soon. I am working on a mariner compass
quilt for the Cedarburg Quilt Museum to raise funds for a new building.
