Six-hundred million years ago in the age referred to by geologists as the Cambrian Period, a little three lobed animal called the tilobite was the dominant complex form of life on earth.  The trilobite florished in shallow seas for 300 million years, including the sea that covered Wisconsin at the time.  One can find trilobite fossils in the limestones, and sometimes in the dolomites in this state.

Finished size of the Wisconsin Pride quilt is 85" x 106".  This quilt is traditional needle-turn appliqué quilt (Appliqué Samplers),  finished block size is 21" x 21".  The color combinations are red and green, blue and yellow, etc.  Cut background fabric to 23" x 23", then once the appliqué block is done, trim the block to 21.5"x21.5".
